Wow, can you believe its been 8 days since I last posted something boring and interesting about my life? Well, uni is horrible (which is as expected). However, I am looking forward to the holidays (well study break, but i think ill take the first few days as a small holiday). My last uni day is tomorrow and I would usually be excited for something like this, but I have two assessments due tomorrow, and both are in different stages of completion.
Hmm, what else? Well my birthdays coming up and i've always wanted to go to one of those drive-in movie type of things? it would be pretty exciting! Oh and, I have booked for my P's test (driving test after learners). Its for the 5th May or something like that and Im so scared because I havent completed my hours and I can't park properly yet. Believe it or not, I can reverse park better than nose-in first park. Strange huh?

positivity
ok, so I said i'd come back with a positive attitude and with good enthusiasm so yaye here I am acting all positive.. because i've decided to drop one of my subjects haha! physics was ruining my life for a while anyway and it was just so hard to keep up with all my other subjects because I was paying WAY too much attention to physics when I still don't get it anyway. So, I am going to withdraw from that unit by the end of the day.. I'm a little bit scared, though. I mean, what will others think of me? They might think that i'm taking the easy way out so I would have less workload (which isn't true because my other subjects are just as hard, if not harder). Oh well, I shouldn't pay attention to what others might say, I should just do what's best for me right?
Also, I've already started my other assessments so I'm not TOO worried!
With lots of happy love <3

too early..
It's officially 8:21am according to the computer time at uni.. and its just too early for me. I could still be asleep on a later bus but I figured if I came to uni earllier today I could get some work done before my lecture at 9.. WRONG.
Not to mention my weekend was suppposed to be dedicated to study and hmm.. I wish I could say that I studied all weekend and that I know all of my material now, but I don't. And I want to dig myself a hole and lie there and cry.. because I have 4 assessments due in a week and i've done nada. zero. zilch. nil, whatever you wanna call it. I know it's all my fault though because i'm so behind so i've got to fix this.
I will get back to you next time with hopefully a positive attitude and positive thoughts. Wish me luck!

pimples
I've had three huge pimples on the right side of my forehead for a good 3 days now, and they annoy me so much. Considering I had two assessments due this week for uni and stressed all week, I understand why my body felt the need to produce more hormones and create new pimples for me and what not. BUT THEY FRUSTRATE ME! I feel so dirty! I hope they go away soon. So for the past two days ive been trying not to stress myself out and actually got good sleep the last two nights so I feel refreshed :)
Which is why i'm at uni at the moment planning to stay in this library on this computer for the next two hours so I can research for my next essay.. oh boy..

paper cuts
no literally... paper cuts. I found a paper cut on my pinkie finger today on the joint right above my nail? I have forgotten how painful these things can be and even if the smallest amount of moisture goes on them, they sting and you feel pain for a good few minutes :|

wow
Hey guys, i'll make this short and sweet.
So you know Ben the guy who I ranted on about two blogs before? Well today.. he spoke to me *squeak!* seriously. We ended up sitting across from each other today during a lab and he just asked me a question. I was literally tongue tied. Oh and you know that expression: "My heart skipped a beat"? (well that was more dramatic)... I gotta say ladies, the saying stands true. I could hear and feel each individual rapid heart beat boo-booming inside my chest. Also, try hiding the hyperventilation thats going on inside and keeping a straight face whilst trying not to smile too hard that your cheeks would fall off so you don't look so hopeful and he doesnt find you completely wierd before getting to know you... yeah, toughest challenge ever! Hopefully next week, we'll exchange more words :)
Today, (because i'm part of the Red Cross), we were supposed to have a barbecue at uni but it didn't come through. So guess who was left eating yummy and junk-foody oportos? sadly, me. It tasted so good but was so depressed afterwards because i'm "supposed" to be on a diet haha!
So there we go :) Point six about me: part of Red Cross society, and point seven: this girl is on a diet. I need to lose 7 kilos before my birthday (1 month).. good luck to me :|
Until tomorrow my loves <3

is disappointed :(
ok.. so what am I up to- point five about me was it?
Well, so point five about me: I love op shopping. Op shopping, vintage shopping, thrifting, secondhand shopping, whatever it is, I LOVE IT. It has become an obsession of mine for SOO many years and not only have I saved a ton of money for doing it, my room is full of objects and clothes with thrifting stories behind all of them :)
So today, I skipped my last two lectures and went to my charity stores and secondhand stores. I wasnt even meant to go but somehow my feet guided me to the sliding doors of
st. vinnies and I couldn't resist. SOO.. I bought a cute little pouch zipper thing. (Before I bought it I had to figure out what i'd use it for.. ive decided to use it for my ipod and phone) which cost me a measly $1.50 and an old suzannegrae shirt which had a different neckline. I tried it on and you could wear it as an off the shoulder shirt and it looks pretty good for.. $3.00 :)
one of my fav stores had this genuine leather/floral printed wallet where the lady was willing to give it to me for $4.00 but I decided I needed to make up my mind and that I would come back later. 2 hours later, I started getting very very VERY excited to buy the wallet so I went to the store... and it was GONE! I KNEW I should have bought it when I first saw it! And it was genuine too and I had never seen a wallet like it before :(
So my fellow readers and friends.. that is why I am disappointed today. Oh and also the fact that I've barely started my genetics speech/presentation and it is due in approximately 17 hours and 22 minutes.. oh boy..
I love you guys again <3

Won't be able to sleep tonight
So I just came back from work...
Point two about me: I'm a waitress and work three shifts a week along with uni.. which isn't too bad I suppose. It gives me enough money to save a little bit and my allowance for the week.
Point three about me: I hate to admit it, but I am a hopeless romantic. I mean, not only have I not had a boyfriend in nearly 19 years, I think it is partially due to my lack of approach-ness. I never approach guys or try to get guys to like me because of all those stupid romantic-cinderella story-chick flick movies which are all total fiction. You know the ones...
Recap of stupid romantic-cinderella story-chick flick movies: Actually, there are two kinds.
A) 1. boy and girl are complete opposites and have never interacted.. usually in high school from different cliques. It's usually the girl who is nerdy and the guy who is a jock (go figure).
2. They end up colliding by chance and are torn apart by their friends who want them to choose their friends instead of the desired guy or girl. It's almost always the guy who makes the moves (this is when I start to become hopeful for myself).
3. In the end, they overcome their differences (or say they will work it out because they are each worth it) and live happily ever after..
4. This usually ends with some cheesy making out- kissing scene in the middle of the street or where there are lots of people with the camera filming their kiss whilst revolving around the couple in a circle..
its true right?
and then theres...
B) 1. Boy and girl are best friends... and have been since they were tiny totts.
2. One starts to fall for a popular person at their school and the other still tries to be the best friend and encourage the relationship EVEN THOUGH WE ALL KNOW that they are secretly in love with their best friend and have been since they met on that playground some 10 years ago..
3. The one falling for a popular person realises that they are popular for a reason (usually because they sleep around or cheat) and comes to the realisation that WOW! I am in love with my best friend, how could I not have seen this before? How could I have been so blind?! blah blah blah..
4. Another make-out final kissing scene with the usual revolving around the couple whilst embracing in each others arms..
So yeah you get my drift right? I am one in a million girls who believe that they will be swept off their feet by a guy straight out of cinderella and that NO, you dont have to do anything, they will come to you. When it's time, you will have your cinderella story...
I just wanted to get that out in the open while I lay here and mope about my repellent-ness to the opposite sex because of what happens at work every single shift. Okay, so all our chefs are male and we have bartenders (women) who are pretty hot.. nice body, nice smile.. blah blah.. and they follow them like puppy dogs! seriously most of the girls are so dumb I doubt they remember their own names! It just really pisses me off and theres a girl who gloats about all these guys who are into her at work whilst she has a boyfriend waiting at home.. same for one of the guys.. sometimes you just want to snap your fingers in their face and say: "NOW HOLD ON A MINUTE.. i am a girl too.. I mean I wouldnt want to be hit on like some kind of prostitute, but a little attention would be nice. This is the reason I don't bother with makeup at work anymore. All natural for me.
*sigh... well, now thats off my chest, I think it's time for bed. I'm sure i'll be back with another whiny story tomorrow :)
I love you, to all who bother to read about my boring life <3

Ben
Okay, so point one about me: i'm a complete shy, non-attractive repellent. I've gone through nearly 19 years of my life watching my bestfriends have boyfriends and girlfriends after boyfriends and girlfriends. It got kind of depressing when I got to Year 7 but I got over it because i'm a tough cookie :). But lately, I suppose its been kind of bugging me. I see so many guys and girls out there with partners who you never would have thought possible for the person. And then you wonder 'WHEN WILL THEY FIND ME?!' My god I swear, girls talk about their first kisses when they're 11 or so years old and yet here I am, 19, alone, never been kissed (cheesy, but true) and venting these sorrows through an online blog... thats saying something isnt it? haha! My cousin has had many companions and she said to me: 'Don't worry, when you get to uni, it'll be so easy!'. Um well hello, first of uni has flown by already and was I never acknowledged by a guy. It being my second year of uni with no guy interaction at all makes me scratch my head and wander... Due to this skill of mine, i've said for years i'm going to become celibate. But honestly, what's a life without sex?! *Sigh.. that's one goal of mine throughout my journey.. find a boyfriend.
So anyway, there's this guy Ben (not his real name) who has infatuated me since I first met him during a chemistry learning session about a year ago. I don't follow him around like a lost puppy, he just makes me hold my breath whenever he's in my sight. He's norwegian and so sexy I feel like i've sinned just looking at him. Well, I went through last year not having said a word to him, he didn't even know who I was. BUT THIS YEAR.. I nearly fainted when I saw we had a class together. We sit on opposite sides of the room and it pains me to say i've only spoken to him once, and it was a complete and utter embarrassment on my behalf. And another thing, I feel like if I do talk to him, I might accidentally use his name because he might find it wierd.. this girl he doesnt know knows how much about him whereas he can't even point me out in a crowd. I won't see him until our class on Tuesday but if something happens (which is most likely a no), i'll let you know!!
Now, it's time to stop thinking of the norwegian god and get back to my genetics seminar which is due on wednesday (i've just started ) :|
starting afresh
So here I am, sitting in my cubicle of a room, trying to acknowledge my long-thought goals and whether or not I am going to strive to achieve them this year. I have work all day tomorrow, university on monday, a physics assignment due on tuesday and a genetics seminar due on wednesday. Despite the chaos, I still took the time to start a new blog. Mind you, this is spontaneous for me. Seriously, I have never read a blog before, never started one, I am a COMPLETE AMATEUR. I am not a writer, I did the lowest english possible in high school, i'm not very interesting in general. But still, I find that starting this blog will help me vent through this year at uni, help my find myself and to write about my journey of my boring life, experiences, dreams and who knows, I may achieve something great this year, something i've dreamt of and that is out of my comfort zone. And when that happens, I want you to experience it with me. This could be our secret in a way :)
